We’re thrilled to share that ACEMID (Australian Centre of Excellence in Melanoma Imaging and Diagnosis) has been named a finalist in the 2025 Shaping Australia Awards under the Problem Solver category, presented by Universities Australia.
What are we being awarded for?
ACEMID is being recognised for its leadership in pioneering research programs focused on innovative technologies for the early detection and prevention of skin cancer. Since 2019, ACEMID has connected The University of Queensland, Monash University, and The University of Sydney with 15 metropolitan, regional, and rural hospitals and health services across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.
How can you support?
The Problem Solver Award is a People’s Choice Award is decided by the public. The finalist with the highest vote will win. Voting closes January 19. The winners will be announced at the annual gala dinner on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
