The ACEMID recruitment team has received almost 12,000 responses to participate in our study across Australia. This incredible response has demonstrated a need for the research to be undertaken Australia-wide.
Recently, the Westmead site, located in the Western Sydney Local Health District, formally opened.
NSW Lead, Professor Pablo Fernandez-Penas, shared histhoughts for the Go-live for Western Sydney Local Health District ACEMID site:
"This is an amazing achievement in very challenging times. 3D Photography will improve health outcomes of patients in NSW (and Western Sydney in particular)." Professor Fernandez-Penas said.
"But more importantly, bringing this technology in an eHealth network facilitates our aim to reduce inequality in access to healthcare to public patients in NSW. This is the first step of a unique telemedicine network in the world."
"Thank you to you all at ACRF, UQ, Monash, USyd, eHealth NSW, WSLHD and Westmead Hospital. You all should be proud."
The ACEMID sites currently recruiting are:
