Have You Had Total Body Photography? Share Your Experience

Total body photography (TBP) is increasingly used to help detect melanoma early, especially for people at higher risk. While this technology plays an important role in skin cancer care, it’s equally important to understand how patients experience the TBP process.

We are conducting a research study to improve a new patient questionnaire designed to capture patient experiences of TBP. To do this, we are inviting adults who have previously undergone total body photography to take part in a one-on-one cognitive interview.

What does participation involve?

  • Signing a consent form
  • Completing a short demographic questionnaire
  • Taking part in a 30–40-minute interview (Zoom or Teams call preferred) at a time that suits you
  • During the interview, you’ll be asked to read through and answer questionnaire items out loud, while sharing your thoughts on how clear and relevant the questions are

Your feedback will help ensure the questionnaire is easy to understand, respectful, and patient-centred.

Who can take part?

  • Adults (18+)
  • Individuals who have previously undergone total body photography

Participants will receive a $20 voucher as reimbursement for their time.
